Schedule for position is Sunday - Thursday 7:00am-3:30pm
Review and correct electronic and manual versions of donor collections operations documents and assist with donor safety and patient safety issues as related to results of the review.
Evaluate discrepancies identified during review to include initial investigation and management of suspect products. Make corrections as appropriate per defined procedures. 3. Document discrepancies and forward to staff responsible for problem investigation and follow up activities.
Contribute ideas and expertise to formulate effective corrective actions for problems by participating in functional work groups or providing feedback to appropriate management.
Contacts external and internal customers such as donors, DCSC or other departments and foster teamwork to enhance operational success. Ensures confidentiality of sensitive information and resolve difficult situations with professionalism. High school diploma or equivalent required. Minimum four years related experience is required. Related experience may include specialized business and/or data processing, medical records, auditing and quality review. Previous donor center experience preferred. Medical experience or quality background desired. Proficiency with computer desktop applications and ability to type with speed and accuracy required. Strong organizational skills, document management skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks required. Must be detail oriented and have strong math skills. Excellent oral and written communication skills required. Ability to identify, resolve and escalate issues if necessary. Must display tact, diplomacy and professionalism in difficult situations and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information.
