American Red Cross Telcom Mobility Administrator in Statewide, United States
Field phone calls and e-mail questions from users seeking guidance on Mobile Phones such as Android/iPhone Smartphones, Mobile Wireless Access cards, Tablets, basic Cell phones and MDM (Mobile Device Management) enrollments
Provide technical support to assist Mobile phone users with hardware and software questions on Android/iPhone Smartphones, Mobile Wireless Access cards, Tablets, basic Cell phones and MDM (Mobile Device Management) enrollments
Set up Audio/WebEx Conferencing Services and Voice Over IP Desk Phones and assist users with questions and troubleshooting.
Receive, document, track and resolve user questions and/or problems using an IT Service Management Ticketing System.
Assure timely response to resolve questions and concerns within the documented service level targets
Adhere to standard operations and policies to provide effective customer service. A strong customer service skill will be essential to be successful in this position
Qualifications: Education: 4-year college degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience in lieu of degree Experience: Minimum 1 to 3 years required
PLEASE NOTE -candidate preferred location will be within a daily commutable distance to our offices in the DC Metro area but proven teleworkers outside of the DC Metro area will be considered. No relocation assistance will be offered.
Essential Functions/Physical Requirements: Depending on work assignment, may require ordinary ambulatory skills sufficient to visit other locations; or the ability to stand, walk and manipulate (lift, carry, move) light to medium weights of up to 20 pounds. Requires good hand-eye coordination, arm, hand and finger dexterity, including ability to grasp, and visual acuity to use a keyboard, operate equipment and read technical information. Overall mobility is essential. May include sitting for long periods of time, driving a vehicle and working under challenging conditions.
Work Conditions: Work is performed indoors with some potential for exposure to safety and health hazards related to emergency services relief work. May travel and participate in meetings and conferences throughout chapter jurisdiction, state and Red Cross system. Because the Red Cross is a disaster response organization, staff may be asked to be on 24-hour call during period of major disaster.
